With four different wavelengths of light, the Revlite is incredibly effective in removing multicoloured tattoos.

Our Revlite™ Q-switch laser works by delivering light, in billionths of a second, at very high energy. The light is absorbed by the tattoo ink, shattering it into small enough particles for the body to absorb and remove through its natural filtering process.

The Revlite laser successfully removes many tattoos over a course of treatment.

Suitable for superficial and deep pigments

The Revlite™ Laser is a multi wavelength system Q switched ND Yag laser technology from Cyanosure using the 1064nm and 532nm wavelengths for powerful, non ablative skin resurfacing treatments.

The 1064nm and 532nm wavelengths of Revlite™ effectively target both superficial and deep pigmented lesions in the skin, making it an ideal Laser for treating almost all types of skin pigmentations.

This procedure offers minimal discomfort and no-downtime skin rejuvenation and tattoo removal.

Frequently Asked Questions

+How does Laser Tattoo Removal work?

The RevLite laser produces rapid, short pulse widths of energy – this limits the healthy skin’s exposure to heat which makes treatments safe and fast. The resulting effect on the ink is vibration, shattering the target molecules.

Your tattoo will require multiple sessions before it’s fully removed. The amount of sessions or treatments will depend on how large your tattoo is, what sort of ink has been used and the length of time between your sessions.

+Does it hurt?

The feeling of each short pulse is usually described as feeling like the ‘snap’ of a rubber band on the skin. In the vast majority of cases, having a tattoo removed using the RevLite laser is less painful or at worst – only the same – as having the tattoo done.

+How many sessions will I need?

This all depends on the size and type of ink used. As a rough guide a ‘professional’ tattoo will need between 6 and 10 sessions whereas an ‘amateur’ tattoo might only require between 3 and 6.

It’s always best to come and visit for a consultation first – we’ll be able to give you a more accurate idea of the number of sessions required.

+Should I use topical anaesthetic while providing this treatment?

Topical anaesthetic may be administered to increase patient comfort, although this is not routinely needed

+What does the treatment feel like?

The treatment feels like a strong pricking sensation. Small areas will take about 10-15mins to treat but larger areas can take longer, such as a sleeve tattoo.

+Can I have this treatment pregnant or breastfeeding?

We do not advise treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
